Digital Photo Librarian is a program that will let you create a database out of your images.
For some tasks, it will be very useful to have a fully documented database containing data about a group of images. If you are a publisher, a designer or an editor, you will especially like a program that will allow you to create databases about your images.
This program will let you create, view and maintaing image databases. When creating a new database, DPL will allow you to choose the folder and file name where you want the database to be recorded. Then, you will be able to select the fields that you want your database to include. The program has several fixed fields that you can use (such as Date, Persons, Events, Location or Notes). You can configure them to accept only one line or multiple lines, and you can add some fields, like Groups and generic fields that will allow you to select the content between up to two options. Once you have chosen these options, you can tell the program where the images that you want DPL to include in the new database are. In a few seconds the program will finish the task, and the database will be created.
You will be able to save the database, and modify it whenever you want. The program even includes an Image Editor that will let you edit any image included in the database.
